UN inspectors return to Iraq

[Details] United Nations arms inspectors, including Americans, arrived back in Baghdad yesterday, according to the Cable News Network (CNN). CNN reported that a UN plane carrying around 70 inspectors landed at Habbaniya airport near Baghdad. Iraq had formally notified the United Nations Security Council that all UN weapons inspectors could return to Iraq, stating that the three-week crisis was over.

Britain moves to toughen its anti-terrorists laws

[Details] Britain has announced legislation to toughen its anti-terrorists laws in a new move to curb the activities of international terrorist organisations based in the country. The promise of a tough new legislation was made by the Home Secretary, Jack Straw, in the wake of this week's massacre of 68 tourist in Luxor.
