Delivering the key note address, Srivastava said, “Despite the fact that India is the largest producer of milk, which contains calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, iodine, vitamin A, D, B12, K, riboflavin, biotech, pantothenic and other nutrients, a number of people are not getting required nutrients and micro nutrients. He was speaking on the opportunities and challenges faced by the dairy and poultry sector.
Sarang Nirmal, Chairman, Prabhat Dairy, said, "I feel that the dairy plant should focus on sustainability of the dairy industry in India and not just on major farmers, but also on small farmers."
