New Delhi, October 20: Delhi has joined Uttar Pradesh in reporting the largest number of cases of women being sexual harassed at work places.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has 60 cases of sexual harassment at work places in the capital over the last three years, while Uttar Pradesh has registered 77 such cases, the Lok Sabha was informed on Monday.

Thirty-six cases of sexual harassment at work places were registered by the NCW in Rajasthan, 21 in Haryana and 20 each in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, Women and Child Development Minister Renuka Chowdhary said in a written reply.

The cases were registered over a period of three years from 2006-08.

No cases were registered in smaller states like Puducherry, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and only one in Chhattisgarh and Goa.

The state of Jammu and Kashmir also registered no such cases.

Chowdhary said the Government was planning to introduce a bill titled "Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace, 2006", drafted by the NCW.

"The bill was being introduced after a wide range of consultations," she added.

UP, Bihar, haryana and Delhi people are the worst when it comes to treating women. Maharashtra is right in not letting them set their feet on their soil. UP and Bihar bhaiyas are not only women molesters but children too. They come to Mumbai seek jobs rob their owners and leave killing them. If that is the ground they are being shooed then it should be okay. As far as jobs are concerned why are the jobs not alloted to the marathi people,is railway Lalu's father's property. If we get rid of him as a RM he will not be able to survive. The goons need to go after him and other politicians, it will be fun but it is not funny to see innocent people being harassed. Get them out of power.

Maharashtra is not far behind with 20 registered cases. You say, "innocent people should not be touched", but then how do you justify the killing in MNS violence? Think before you say something.
