Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has always been looked upon as one of Indian cinema's greatest talents. And now with the widening of the cinematic horizon across the globe, accolades have been pouring in for the superstar from various countries. The latest being the honour conferred by the Australian government for Big B's remarkable contribution to the Indian cinema, which is celebrating its centenary year. The honour was bestowed on Big B at the OzAsia Festival, for his contribution towards Indian cinema and fructifying the relations between the two countries.
Commenting on the honour he received, Bachchan posted, "Another recognition by the Australian Government and its Commission here in Mumbai, in celebration for the 100 years of Indian Cinema, and my contribution towards fructifying the relations between the two countries... I am most humbled..."
This will be the second honour Bachchan has received from Australia post last year when he was felicitated with an honorary doctorate from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
