Ujjain(MP) Film actor Anupam Kher has said that activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal should first prove himself rather than criticising others.

The time is over for now for Kejriwal to oppose others, said Kher during a function at the Ujjain Press Club last evening.

Anupam Kher had participated in Anna Hazare's campaign against corruption earlier.

"Kejriwal should now perform and prove himself," Kher said adding, he himself had no plans to join politics.

Kejriwal had in the recent past alleged nexus between realty firm DLF and Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

He had also demanded resignation and arrest of Union Minister Salman Khurshid over allegations of financial irregularities in the functioning of a trust run by Khurshid's wife.

Kejriwal had also made allegations of corruption against BJP president Nitin Gadkari.

Meanwhile, Kher said he did not agree with Baba Ramdev's view that 26/11 Mumbai terror attack convict Ajmal Kasab should have been hanged in public.

This is an issue pertaining to law and the authorities took a suitable step, he added.

Arvind Kejriwal is going to hurl more criticism! by Insaan on 27 Nov 2012

Indian Express writes what pleases the ruling class. Why does it have to highlight news headlines with comments against Arvind Kejriwal by people who mean nothing more than being nautanki actors? And, why would Kher criticize Arvind Kejriwal for a political strategy the ruling class always relied on for staying in power? Highlighting Kher's comments, Indian Express has legitimized criticism against Arvind Kejriwal. Who is afraid of Arvind Kejriwal's recent announcement that he is going to travel across India in order to expose Congress and the BJP for their use of the aam aadmi for his vote? Again, Arvind Kejriwal is going to hurl criticism! Indian Express, if you realize that the present pathetic state of affairs in India occurred under Indian media%u2019s watch and if you now abhor it, help Arvind Kejriwal to prove himself up to the task he has taken upon himself as a lone crusader against everything evil around us. You owe it to true journalism; you owe it to India.

Anupamkher VS Kejriwal by Shanthanu on 27 Nov 2012

Anna also criticizes the elected representatives for failing to provide basic needs of the common man. Ask Kher also to stop Anna from commenting. Atleast Kejriwal has the guts to stand to his claims whereas you had to once turn around for shelter on your comment in public.

Kejriwali is doing a Great work. The minimum I can do is talk good about Him and also Vote for his Party. Mr. Kher u are a public personality, please support such people, instead of giving your idiotic comments in Public and wasting our time of reading them. Please Vote for the AAM Admi Party..

Prove facts before further accusations by R N Fernandez on 27 Nov 2012

Mr. Kejriwal needs to get facts and prove it before he continues on his so called accusations(without proof). Why does he not seek legal and administrative course of action and prove the guilty wrong. His objective is to steer a new political party and then automatically join the mainstream of politicians and be one of them indulging in their pranks. Its obvious that by attacking the Congress and BJP on corruption, he sets a stage for his political party to garner votes. Lets wait and see the outcome. Seems to be sliding down.

Why Discourage others by Keralian on 27 Nov 2012

Hello Mr. Kher. Please dont pass comment which does not have any meaning. All Indian know that who is corrept. But somebody will there to fight against this. Let them do their part , We can SUPPORT THEM. I have desire to go there and support but As other individual , I have to support my family since I am the only earner.

Stop It Please, Do not Discourage.. by Aman Dhaliwal on 26 Nov 2012

For God sake, Mr.Kher and anyone else in India...Stop discouraging people like Anna and kejriwal. After years and years, someone is atleast standing up agianst corruption. If Kejriwal will not speak, then how will the Indians come to know the real face of their ideal Politicians and the businessmen? Anna ius doing good but these days, the gandhian methodology doesnt work on thick skin politicians we have but atleast Kejriwal is being blunt and bringing the corrupt at the forefront. Media -please support Kejriwal and publish what he says becuase in any case these politicians will place enquiry and then corrupt officials will give a clean chit....huh..

KHER WORRIED ABOUT KEJRIWAL'S POPULARITY AND SUPPORT by SRINIVASULU on 26 Nov 2012

Mr.Kher who cares your such unwanted comments. If you have courage fight against corruption and spend your life for protecting the country's values. OR MAINTAIN SILENCE TO RETAIN YOUR IMAGE OTHERWISE PEOPLE JUST LAUGH AT YOU.

Unwarranted comments by RAJENDRA on 26 Nov 2012

Mr. Kher, please dont offer any comments without going into the issue. I remember you role in the film SAARANSH where you were also get furiously angry against the system and when one person is trying to change it you are asking him to prove him. What do you mean by proving because unless and until any body comes forward like Mr. Kejriwal nothing is going to be changed and you will always remain with they systme which you faced in your film SAARANSH. So if you cannot do anything to society then please dont stopt somebody else who is trying to do so.
