It is prudent to run this plant by Jay Dinakar on 25 Feb 2012

What Dr.Singh has said may be true. The protest might have been instigated by the Americans to thwart the efforts to generate power with Russian help. Be it as it may, leading scientists including our respected Dr.Abdul Kalam have said that there is nothing to worry as far as safety is concerned. We are common people without any scientific knowledge. WE have to take these scientists advice. We need power badly. Many crores have been invested in that project. If we do not go forward all the money will be wasted. So it is prudent that we continue with this project and generate electricity. The situation is like this: suppose there is a train accident. But we do not stop travelling by train. WE cannot. Likewise, there were few accidents in the Nuclear pants like in Chernobyl in Russia and another one in Japan was hit by sunami. So it is not right to ask all the nuclear plant to stop working. In our own interest, it is better that we run this plant. A Like Reply
