Former district convener of BJP’s cow cell Vipin Bilauha, who lives in Katni’s Gayatrinagar area, and his two accomplices, M L Jain and Kandhi Yadav, have been charged under sections 4, 6, and 9 of the MP Prohibition of Slaughter of Cow-progeny Act.
Bilauha, a Bajrang Dal activist, and the two accomplices were transporting over 150 cows and calves for slaughter from Badagaon to Ganiyari when they were stopped about 35 km from Katni.
Katni SP Rajesh Hingankar told The Indian Express that the trio had fled after abandoning the cattle and were likely to be arrested soon. He said they were involved in facilitating illegal transport of cattle across borders.
Not so long ago, Bilauha and other Bajrang Dal members used to regularly raid vehicles to check if they were carrying cattle meant for cow slaughter. There were complaints that they were involved in irregularities like charging money to allow passage of cows meant for slaughter. Bilauha had been removed from the post following such complaints.
Investigating Officer M P Patel said the police had been tipped by a current member of the cow protection cell about Bilauha’s activities. The impounded cattle have been kept at a nearby village.
MP last year amended the legislation making cow slaughter punishable with a seven year jail term and shifting the burden of proof to the accused.
Though the law had been amended to plug loopholes exploited by the accused to make conviction difficult, there had been several complaints against right wing activists that they harassed cattle owners and raided even authorised vehicles. In fact, the idea behind the country’s first cow sanctuary, whose foundation was laid in Shajapur district recently in the presence of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, was first mooted in 2008 to shelter cattle ‘freed’ after raids by right wing organisations.
Now Bajrang Dal people start to eat Cow, what will happen with them??. If Christian do like this then Hindu people attack and burn live body in Orissa same as 2008 riots with Christianity.
Evil is present in good places/people and Good qualities are present in some bad people.Exceptions for the rules are always present in the world.

Just imagine, how come their %u201Cregularly raid vehicles%u201D activities didn't fall under IPC sections of CRIMINAL procedure? Are/Were they instituted by the government? If so, what are the legislative jurisdictions invoked? If, it is otherwise, why shouldn't the police of their activity zone/time be booked herewith for CRIMINAL conspiracy against country/state? It shouldn%u2019t be passed with blind eyes simply because their act/hooliganism harmed MUSLIMs. Because, the sequence of unfurling of the EVENT itself necessitates MORE than introspective evaluation. ACT or at least give indication of some activity.
This is the true face India's politicians, shameless and corrupt. The beaurocracy is ofcourse the most rotten and corrupt. The fun is that peoplke still call the 1947 drama as AZADI. It was azadi from the rule of law to rule by whims and fancies of the worthless and corrupt.
The communal ideology that the whole BJP is pursuing amounts to doing all wrong things in the garb of religion... how can you lead to glory when you are pursuing hatred policy.
We all need to condemn the BJP/Bajrang Dal activist, on one side they demand protection of cow to appease Hindu voters, and to play pro Hindu cards but their appointed protector cows are held for illegally transporting of cows for slaughter. Will BJP/RSS publicly appologies to Hindus for the act of their members.

If you read the news, it clearly says that he was removed from the position due to complaints and irregularities. So, it was clear that he was a rotten apple. Then why accuse the organisation?
Dear, he had removed from the POST of convener. NOT from the party. Why don't u ppl accept the truth.
Any thing you ban, there comes a black marketfor that item. The very people who imposed the ban indulge in making money by illegalmeans .Winnability and resources for financing the party candidates should not be primary consideration in admitting a person.
BJP has many wrong elements - who entered BJP to cash in on the public sentiments without believing in its principles. These fringe elements need to be weeded out. Once this happens, the strong principle centred BJP will lead India to its glory.
