London Angelina Jolie has opened up about her role as a UN ambassador, saying the experience has made her a better person.

The mother of six told Total Film magazine that her first trip changed her completely, the Daily Express reported.

"They're not crying because they don't have time for it and I'm not helping them by just feeling for them. I had to stay practical and focused," she said.

She also said that the people affected were not crying because they don’t have time for it and she’s not helping them by just feeling for them.

The 37-year-old added that she had to stay calm, practical and focused.

Jolie has also kept a diary to help deal with some of the harrowing scenes, which she witnessed during her travels to the Third World countries.
