A local court in Karimnagar has directed the police to probe a complaint filed against MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi for allegedly making objectionable remarks insulting gods.

Karimnagar (AP) A local court directed the police to probe a complaint filed by Advocate Bethi Mahender Reddy against All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi for allegedly making objectionable remarks insulting Hindus and Hindu gods.

Reddy alleged that on August 22, 2012, the MLA addressed a public meeting at Circus Grounds in Karimnagar town, where he made comments which "broke the hearts" of Hindus. He watched the speech on TV news channels, he said. Reddy has filed the complaint under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

"Additional Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Kshama Deshpande directed the Karimnagar III Town police station to investigate the complaint and file a report," Reddy's counsel said.

What about the hatred systematically propagated by voice and written pumphlets. The cadres are working continously and the hatred had cost so many human lives in terms of roits and demolition of Mosque even after assurance by Highest body to Supreme court.

It is not true by yaar on 23 Jan 2013

It is not true.I saw the whole speech. His speech was not hateful. His speech was infact how poor muslims are being oppressed. He only pointed out at the conspiracy which is taking shape slowly behind the scenes. No body understood it.Not even audience.Yes! He is not posh in presenting. But every word he said is in defence of people being exploited by other political parties. He pointed out how minorities quota is being gobbled up by other groups even though quotas are allocated. He said, how Criminal of Gujarat has gone un-punished even though he killed so many Muslims with the aid of all political parties including Congress. Is that wrong?People who conducted Guj riots have tentacles in all parties. That is what he said indirectly. Is it not true? If some one says truth, you put him in jail.Release all truth tellers, else Truth will knock down falsehood the way it should have long time ago. There is only One God,whether Hindus or Muslims.People who reject this, will face the calamity.Peace.

WHAT AP GOVT DOING? by N.ASTI on 23 Jan 2013

Actually it is the Govt's duty to file such a case in public interest. In Delhi demonstrations for some even noble cause,Delhi police, under UPA Govt is quite prompt to file cases. If Congress is really secular and not bias,COMMUNAL,then A.P.police under Congress Govt must have filed the case for an attempt to disrupt harmony between the two communities. But the failure in this case might be because of Congress Govt pressure on police.Even if Media is not bias, the point should have been taken-up by so-called alert Media.A private person has to go for the complaint is disgraceful for Congress-Govt in A.P. Govt motive is as clear as daylight.

Police needs to be more vigilant by PS on 23 Jan 2013

The belligerancy of this community is going to extremes. Police should also video tape all speeches in the the religious places too.
