Dada retired from Indian team 5 years ago...Fans are increasing day by day as the years progresses ...Thats the power of DADA!!! nobody can reach u dada...JALWA DIKHADO DADA!!!!
Yes,Dada was dropped from KKR.But it wasn't due to bad performance, infact the KKR official had igo problem with Ganguly and the dirty politics in Indian Cricket is also involved for dropping him out from KKR.The politcis of BCCI also ruined his career before when Chappel took charge of Indian team as coach and perhaps the rubbish politics also insisted him to retire from the Test Cricket inernational in 2008;even he was declared top test batsman of Asia in 2007.There are lot of sensitive issues that many a people want to share and discuss. As per my view the players from Eastern side specially from Bengal always find hurdles to keep their place in Indian Cricket event they have performed well in Domestic Cricket.Dada may be victimised for that reason many a time since 1992 when he first played ODI in Australia. If you want to know another story related to that;take Manoj Tiwary, even he scored a ton in his last match again West Indies he hadn't given a single chance after that match.
A correction or two need to be made to this otherwise sound article. Firstly, Dada was not dropped by KKR for poor performance. He was their best batsman and number four among all teams. KKR did not do well because the 'star' players in their team Ricky Ponting, Chris Gayle, Brendon Mccullum et al did not play up to the expectations. Ganguly's captaincy was disturbed by the Aussie Coach Buchanan and the team could not jell as a unit. Secondly, Ganguly is now captain of Warriors because he is a renowned captain with proven skills. not because Yuvraj is ill. Yuvraj, though a great limited-overs player is not good as a captain and his former team Punjab also realized and removed him from captaincy in the 3rd year in KXI.
