Last month, the ED had issued showcause notices to Ramdev, Balkrishna, his trusts Patanjali Ayurved Ltd and Divya Yog Mandir and his Jharkhand Mega Foods for alleged foreign exchange violations.
According to ED documents accessed by The Indian Express, there is fresh evidence to show remittance of forex worth Rs 27.5 crore by the two trusts run by the yoga guru in violation of RBI norms.
Patanjali Ayurved has reportedly made investments abroad worth Rs 4.35 crore while Vedic Broadcasting Ltd has remittance of Rs 4.4 crore towards “professional fee”. Approximately Rs 2.5 crore has allegedly been invested by Patanjali in two companies — Herboved Inc in USA and Patanjali Malagasy Sarl in Madagascar. The ED suspects these to be companies owned by Ramdev’s trusts.
Despite repeated efforts, Ramdev’s spokesperson was not available for comments.
“Once the CBI files the case of forgery (by Acharya Balkrishna) in the passport case, we will register a case under the money laundering Act,” said a senior ED official.
All the 34 companies associated with the yoga guru and his three trusts are headed by Balkrishna.
The ED suspects that Patanjali Ayurved Ltd and Vedic Broadcasting Ltd exported goods at high over-invoiced rates to various foreign companies and its own joint ventures and wholly-owned subsidiaries.
ED investigations also point out that the FDI received by the Jharkhand Mega Food Park from Dubai-based GenX Venture Capital and Lunar General Trading and Liberia-based Micky Shipping Ltd is in violation of the RBI guidelines.
The ED says the RBI was not told about the investments and suspects it could be a pretext of bringing unaccounted money from abroad.
This Baba has turned out to be totally duplicate. He doesn't practice what he preaches. Sells adulturated food. His aide fakes documents and gets Indian passport. He has a network of companies for tax evasion. Violates foreign exhange Act. Has black money in India and abroad. Uses tax exemption to religious institutions for commercial sale of goods. His list of qualifications is rapidly expanding. Even his followers may be surprise to know his credentials.
Now it shows that if anybody speaks against govt.(congress) then they can use their tools(PETS- CBI& ED etc.---)to give a lesson to others it was also done previously i.e. with Ms Kiran Bedi, Kejrawal, Annaji & aid of Baba Ramdev it is the system/policy of congress since 1947 see the back history of them. You can expect anything (dirty) from them for their benefit to protect themselves.
It is just peanuts when compared to what our Ministers and politicians have stashed abroad as well inside the country.Well, what I wonder is about; one year back and five years back, Patanjali Yog Peet was there, Baba Ramdev was there and Acharya Balakrishna was there and they were having international connections since long. WHY NOW?

all depts like ED, CBI,IT, CTBT, &what not are just pet dogs of sonia/govt, if ED is So serious, what is the result of their investigation of that horse dealer whose chapter was hot for sometime, but made to cooooooool under inst of Sonia, till Gandhi Family's black money is expossed, &deposited to country's a.c, they do not have any moral rights to look on others, why lallu, mulayam, maya's case dose not come up to any decision till date, &they keep looting our country's comman man.
The present UPA govt., is not a legitimate authority to give order to any of the investigating agency under the central govt.,to investigate any corruption charges against any person because the govt., involved huge amount of corruption charges of 2G spectrum allocation, coal block allocation to pvt coy´s etc., to be cleared before that the present govt., has no power more to charge any other corruption if any.
CBI was Congress Bachao Institution, now what is ED? There are more corruptions in tunes of thousands and lakhs of crores. So much of money is being channeled out to foreign banks..!!! Indian black money sitting in outside banks (Swiss Banks), and ED couldn't get even 10% back. They are now chasing Baba Ramdev for 25 crore and 2.5 crore :). Hope Supreme Court takes ED to task.

In case Ramdev is involved in any corruption or any foreign rxchange rackets immedialy starts litigation as the govt has clear proof.Unfortunately the Govt. is searching in darkness for identifying the malpractises in Ramdev's business empire.The public gernerally urban educate thinks that the proceeding against Ramdev is seems to be a revenge against his involvement in politics.The so called politicians are more corrupt than Baba's in various places of India as the politicians uses Bab's for gaining cheap popularity.
This is for the people actually sitting in ED and handling made-up cases against Ramdev Baba - Shame on you. What you sow today as corrupt practices in all spheres and walks of life, fruits of which will be experienced by your progenies.

We all know that this is nothing but Sarkari Gundagardi Indian Govt is same or even worse than the Britisher who ruled India. But we the citizens of India are also responsible for letting such bastards rule over us. Jab tak janta ek nahi hogi ye sab chalta rahega. Jabtak es desh main rehne wale cast or bhai bhatijawad chodkar nahi uth khade hote aisa he chalta rahega. Sarkar ko Baba Ramdev se bahut dar lagta hai , kyonki Baba Ramdev wo takat hai jo Indians ko jod sakti hai.
The amount being investigated is very trivial. Why not ED investigate the politicians whose networth has increased multifold as per their declaration given to the chief election commission. Without known source of income how come their networth increased. please investigate them first and then chargesheet them for adjudication by the courts.
Can ED enforce the same law against other religious establishments who accepts forex funds against law? What is the final outcome?

If it for meeting a Political desire to silence someone,we condemned it but if it is done out of love towards one's duty to help the Common General Public or if one is making an attempt to correct the dislodged ORDER,we welcome it but we doubt the move on seeing various recent initiation of Cases against us.Except TATA Group;no Institution within the Country has grown through putting of one's effort but are under existence due to connections with Politicians either directly or indirectly.This is what we are!
ED is fulfilling its "urgent duty" by stifling and choking the voice anti-corruption leaders. This is UPA at its best. Institute corruption, loot mega sums of money, stash the black money in foreign countries, protect the names of black money a/c holders, JPC will protect the PM, Ministers from questioning, who in the first place allowed these scams...Finally use ED, CBI to cut the throats raising voice against corruption and black money. Here is advice to ED 4.35 crores is nothing compared to 100 crores add by GOI, why sonia's picture in this Is she part of GOI? NO. Is her party the congress party paying for this add? NO. Than Go after MMS and Madam Sonia Gandhi for embezzelling Nations coffer for Personal gain for the party. Rs 4.35 crore is a trivial sum that wont buy you much abroad. Even a few wealthy NRI devotees could get together and donate that much in a single year. We all know the ED case smacks of a political with hunt. Its a shame the apathetic population of India especially Hindus remain quiet despite this injustice heaped upon its holy figures. This would never have happened were it a minority Jain, Sikh, Muslim or Christian religious figure.
