In a statement, JIH said it welcomed the government’s decision to set up committees to review the present anti-rape law and find out measures to make the society safe for the women against the backdrop of the gangrape of a 23-year-old in Delhi.
While there should be no sympathy for the rapists more importantly the recent one in New Delhi our great capital, time is ripe for responsible organistions vouching for freedom of speech, democracy etc. to conduct self-introspection the bitter realities giving ground for growth of such heinous crimes. I don't think any of the hosts who were interviewed the other day had thorough information as regards ground realities and they only began to use a specialised words to show one-upmanship than touching the ground reality. There is lot to be said but do not venture to say because the BITTER TRUTH cannot be digested by so called champions of democracy and modern highly educated society at large

Rapist or molesters should tied naked in a public place so that everybody can see them naked and this would put a dent on the so called male ego and after wards hang him,but the molester should not be hanged after the above punishment put in jail.and the person who passes lewd remark must be made to do sit ups naked in the public and this should done live telecasting so that those who intend to rape molest or pass lewd remark will now think 100 times before attempting this heinous act
It is disgusting to see how India's ancient and noble culture has been degraded! Perhaps it is due to this flood of Western influences-"sex sells" say Americans-and they use it to sell cars, motorcycles-you name it. And Indian films and publications are following suit. Not to mention the internet- a vile and filthy source of pornography. China is weay ahead of India in these matters. As in most OTHER matters as well. And finally, thos filthy 6 in Delhi should not just be hanged-they should be tortured till their screams can be heard all around Delhi, and THEN hanged-publicly. That would be the only effective deterrent. Hanging them in private will have no deterrent effect. The prospective criminals must SEE and FEEL their terror to make it palpable to themselves and make them tremble. I wonder if the politicians and judges have the brains to see this.
I hope everyone agrees with me that girls do many a things to seek attraction from the opposite sex..if they know that such and such an act of theirs would attract the opposite sex, why do they object to the fact that all this is also responsible for incidences like rape happening? Can anybody object to the fact that we all live in fantasy world for some part of the day or night? All the indignified dressing senses, movies, porn, ocassions and opportunities to mingle with opposite sex do contribute greatly in these ghastly incidences. I would not agree that the government should increase patrolling to stop such things happening. It is just not possible. It is better that women and girls do policing of their acts, behaviors and the way they carry themselves, the way they deal with the opposite sex. The traditions are eroding with the introduction of so called western lifestyle. Lastly, if nothing else changes, atleast fast and speedy trial and the punishment in public can build somefear

Can you please check how many men you generally see in the public place wearing incomplete cloths flashing their body?
I want to know how many Hindi or English films you can watch along with your sisters, brothers and parents? Definitely surroundings have tremendous effect on teens and youngsters. Women should think beyond freedom to wear any dress or no dress.In Pune and Ahmedabad young girls cover their faces leaving only eyes. Is it wrong? Taking precautions is not curtailment of freedom

So the six year old that was raped was dressing provocatively was she? Have been born and raised in the uk people wear and do what they want not living in the fear that the dress I'm going to wear today my encourage rape! I myself wouldn't dream of wearing some of the so called western clothes you see in Bollywood movies but I also live my the moto,live and let live.
Once again Muslim clerics have blamed the girls and not men who rape them. Why don't these stupid imams tell their men to keep their penises bound tightly rather than blaming girls for getting raped. It seems to me clerics, politicians and the RSS all blame girls for these rapes. Unfortunately even the judges fall in with these people. They deliberately have ignored the fact that a girl is merely a victime and a boy is the victimiser.
