London Veteran Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has been left devastated after the Blues refused to offer him a new contract that would keep him at the club for yet another year and told him to find himself a new club. According to the Sun, a Stamford Bridge insider confirmed that Lampard is completely devastated and desperate to keep playing for Chelsea but the club is not interested in giving him new contract. During the twelve years Lampard has spent with the Blues, he has helped Chelsea to the Champions League, three Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two League Cups. Lampard’s contract is up in the summer and he was hoping his displays on the field would persuade the club he was worth keeping, but the England midfielder was told before Sunday’s mauling of Villa that he could go.
