Will Narendra Modi become chief minister again?
In the history of Gujarat, the work of no other chief minister is comparable to his. He certainly has the support of the people, who will ensure that they get to see him work as chief minister a third time too.
Does the family support him too?
He does not need us, nor do we want to interfere in his work. We understand his obligation to his work. He left home in 1967 at the age of 16 and has never called us. We invite him to all family functions but he did not even attend the weddings of his siblings. The last time I met him was at a public event around two-and-a-half months ago.
Is it because he is the chief minister?
No, it has nothing to do with that. Even if he wasn’t chief minister, he would have been the same. Perhaps it is because of his upbringing as a RSS worker.
How does the family react to the criticism he has faced for communal riots?
To answer this, I will share what my friends told me. Back from a trip to Kashmir, they told me that people believe if Narendra Modi becomes the prime minister, the long-pending Kashmir issue will be resolved. This is the feeling among people in Gujarat as well as in Kashmir.
What about his style of working, which is often termed dictatorial?
Right from his childhood, he has been very disciplined and determined. If he decides he has to do something, he will do it in any way. Even before joining the RSS, he would follow a strict daily regime. Even as a child, he was fearless. I remember when he was a kid, he brought home a little crocodile from the pond, which of course he had to give up when our mother objected.
Hi, I am a common citizen but I feel Mr. Narendra Modi is the best leader under today's situation in india. He is decision maker has good visualization about development. I have been suffering a lot in congress govt. "Garibo ka koi masiha nahi hai, yaha pe" Congress is mainly known for corrouption and no development, no idea's . If i see China's growth , I feel we are not even 10% of them. Its my humble request to all politicians, Please save the country !!!!! Plan development for all type of people (Poor, middle class, rich ). Jay Hind !!!
These are qualities needed from a PM and thats why he fits so perfectly. So need a strong man who can face the increasing international pressures and medelling in Indian affairs alongwith putting things in order within the country. You need someone with strong hand and not like MM who cant even decide anything without asking Sonia
Mr.Modi will solve not only Kashmir issue but also solve all major balance & pending issues of india. As he only has the guts to do so.
Where was Modi during the Kandhar Hi-jacking; Where was Modi during the Attack on the Parliament House; What were his views and what was his advice to Bajpai;BJP's candidate for PM cannot rest on his Gujrat.
He was not in any office to interfere in any of the matter. We are not Banana republic as Robert Wadra thinks.
In the present scenario of the country where corruption is mounting, common man living becoming miserable a person like Mr. Modi is very much essential for the country to lead the country.I am not giving this comment not in favor of BJP. Every political party is having corrupt politicians only thing is the quantum is vary,What is happening in the first BJP government in Karnataka. A dynamic leader is must for the betterment of the country, who can solve the burning problems the country.
The people of Gujrat are fortunate to have Modi Born and serving them.
Great personalities are always disciplined. It is high time we have one strong leader instead of many weak ones!! Today's Democracy means demon crazy leaders exploiting common man!!!!!
That why he is successful & will be PM of India in 2014. No one can stop him to become PM.
If he was so indifferent to his own family, he cannot be a good person.
Modi may be "the" RSS man but he is the only hope for India because only he can dispel the communal misgivings developed ever sionce independence because of Congress party's divid & rule policy. If Hindus and Muslims do not trust each other today, it is not because of RSS or BJP but because of Congress policies. Modi has the capacity, will power and intension with which he can bring these two communities together.
