The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) legislator, booked at three police stations in Andhra Pradesh, arrived here from London early today and filed an application before Nirmal police in Adilabad district through his counsel, seeking four days' time to appear before them on health grounds.
Owaisi looked fit to face questioning, IG (Warangal Range) A B Vekateshwar Rao told reporters, quoting Investigating Officer of Nirmal (Rural) police station A Raghu who visited Owaisi's residence here.
However, Owaisi complained of "internal pain" and hence the IO will subject him to medical examination by government doctors, he said.
Cops' colleagues in Delhi and Mumbai, it may be remembered, showed no such hesitation in cracking down on protesters in the Delhi gangrape case and in arresting 'Facebook girls' for posting innocuous 'anti-Bal Thackeray' missives that could not be considered, even remotely, to be related to any hate speech. Owaisi, however, was eventually taken to a government hospital here today for medical examination.
A police escort team reached the MLA's house at Banjara Hills and took him to the Gandhi Hospital here, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West Zone) G Sudhir Babu said.
Earlier, this morning the Nirmal rural police at Adilabad district issued a notice to Akbaruddin to make himself present for the medical examination.
"In view of his medical examination police issued a notice to him to come to the Gandhi Hospital where government doctors will carry out his medical examination. Once the medical test is complete, a certificate will be issued and based on it further course of action will be taken," another senior police officer said.
For security reasons, a police escort accompanied him.
Akbaruddin has already been issued notices to appear before Nizamabad Police today and also before the Osmania University Police on January 10 in connection with the further probe into the cases registered against him.
Owaisi has approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking to quash all the FIRs registered against him at different police stations in the state.
This is nothing new...we have two classes in India Rulers and commoners.... and therefore law will be different for rulers and commoners. This is the reality in the present India...police will fall in their feet not to displease ppl like raj thakery and owaisi and will put people like me behind the bars right away. Letting this man go scot free should be protested s more intensely than that of Delhi rape case one as such ill minded men lead all to suffering and destruction. This case should not be allowed to fool people and constitution of India; if it, it will be a stepping stone for other disaster makers to indulge in ..
What was the meaning of Miyan when this word was used by Narendra Modi recently? All speeches which spread hate and create distance between communities and religions should be dealt strictly according to Indian Constitution. Togadia Thackeray spoke against muslim people. They never insulted muslim god Allah or Prophet or made fun of religion. If Hindus are minority intolerant why they dont persecute Sikhs Buddhists and jains?

He was questioned the national sovereignty by asking to give 15 minutes to kill 100 crore Hindus with the help of 25 crore his team mates. He was also uttered so many words which was not tolerated by his community if anybody utters similar words against his community. This speech is difference any other speeches of his or anybody else.
