India, a gasping elephant? by SRIGAN on 01 Jun 2012

Who is responsible for this mess, when union tax revenues have been buoyant, with the poorest of the poor contributing their mite by way of service taxes, VAT and the like, while the richest skim them off by way of tax exemptions, concessions and the corrupt politicians and officials removing the cream to tax havens? When are we going to run this country professionally, and not politically. Stinking mess it is and everyone responsible for this should rise up and answer for their omissions and commissions.
