I don't think the Indians should be COCK-A-HOOP by winning (THOUGH INCREDIBLY) just one match! It was done ONLY ON THE MERITS OF JUST ONE BATSMAN!! The OLDIES FAILED TO PERFORM AS USUAL!! If the Aussies win tomorrow, India will have an UPHILL TASK TO BEAT the AUSSIES,as the OLDIES ARE WELL & TRULY WASHED OUT!!

Fervently hope Aussies beat Sri Lanka! Then we will know for sure whether the Indians have really turned the corner after their showing against the Lankans when they play the Aussies in the finals. The BCCI and the selectors have done great injustice to Gambhir by preferring Virat for the vice-captaincy.Note that in all the matches that India won in the tri-series, it is Gautam's performance that helped those wins. He had shown how good a captain he is when he led the team without the so-called senior stars (including Dhoni) against the New Zealanders and whitewashed them. But then mysterious are the ways the selectors function.
