Mumbai Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who been going pretty strong in Bollywood, says, she has worked very hard to reach this position and that it is difficult to please everyone around.

The 25-year-old has had the opportunity to work with established stars -- Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn. With her first two films -'Dabangg' and 'Rowdy Rathore' hitting the bulls eye, Sonakshi became a member of the elite Rs 100 crore club in Bollywood.

“Today if somebody is expecting me to do well for their film, if the audience expects something from me I will ensure I will do it. But to please so many people is not easy it is very difficult. I work hard and give my best,” Sonakshi said.

“I am a very strong person... if I am able to do well and keep the audience happy then my job is done. I have worked very hard to reach this position. I have been accepted a certain way. I am very comfortable and happy,” she added.

When asked if she feels she has made a foothold in the industry, Sonakshi said, “The day I start thinking or feeling that it will be my down fall. The day I begin feeling like that I will be lazy, complacent and unprofessional and I don't want that to happen.”

Her fourth release - 'Son of Sardaar' will see her romancing Ajay after pairing up with Salman and Akshay.

“I feel truly blessed to be working with such big actors. I can't stop but thank people for their love and support. I think luck can take you ahead but hard work also matters. With Salman in the first film I worked very hard, when I did film with Akshay I kept working hard,” she said.

She feels working with established stars benefits newcomers.

“It benefits an actress mostly newcomers like me. Sustaining that is difficult. In your first film people don't expect much from you. But obviously if your debut film is with Salman then people will go to watch him and not me,” she pointed out.

“If audience comes out of the theatre remembering my one dialogue then I consider it as my work done. I consider myself I did my job well and keep working hard,” she added.

Sonakshi said she consults her family before giving nod for any project.

“I consult my family... I consult them for a film considering the amount of experience they have in the industry. They have tremendous experience of 30-35 years. My mother sits with me for narration and if she likes it she will say yes and if not then no,” Sonakshi said.

“If my father is not around during the narration of the film I give him a gist of the film. There is an open discussion but at the end of the day decision is mine. So far it has worked well for me,” she said.

Before Sonakshi entered filmdom she was busy chalking out her career in fashion designing but destiny had something else in store for her.

“Priorities shifted when I started doing 'Dabangg'. Even when I was doing the film I was not aware what will happen next. When the film did well I got a boost and felt that I have been accepted and that I can do this,” Sonakshi said.

“And after that there was no looking back. I am enjoying doing this. I look forward to going to work everyday and having a good productive day,” she said.

Sonakshi is often under scanner for her 'weight' issues. For her debut film 'Dabangg' she had to lose 30 kilos.

“Nobody is anybody to criticize me for the way I look. I have lost 30 kilos before I came in this industry. I worked very hard I know how much hard work it took and how much emotional struggle it was for me,” she said.

“So nobody can say anything. I am not doing the kind of roles that require me to be a size zero.. they don't require me to wear certain kind of clothes,” she added.
