Narendra Modi has lost his balance: Anand Sharma

Ahmedabad Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma today lambasted Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for his comments on Rahul Gandhi saying that "he is rattled and has lost his balance".

"Comments were made for Rahul Gandhi that he should contest election from other country. Why? People of this country have elected him. These comments were uncalled for, and it shows that Modi is rattled and has lost his balance," Shamra said addressing reporters.

Modi, recently reacting to a Congress statement that Rahul Gandhi had a national stature while he was a state leader, had said that Rahul was an "international leader" who can also contest elections in Italy.

With the state elections approaching, calling names has become an order of the day in Gujarat.

"Rahul Gandhi has never said that he wanted to become Prime Minister of India. He has dedicated his work for the people, for the organisation. He is also a leader, who got elected with 3-4 lakhs margin," Sharma further said.

"If Modi has really lost his balance then this is a very serious matter, not only for Gujarat but for the whole country," Sharma said.

"I would love to give him one advice. If he thinks that his stature is so big, his ideology is great, then though I would not suggest him to go out of the country, as he would not even able to go to some nations, let him go to Uttar Pradesh or Bihar to contest the elections," Sharma said.

"Rahul Gandhi can contest elections in Gujarat and can win it also. But if he (Modi) dares to contest elections from Bihar then he should think on how Nitish Kumar will react," the minister quipped.

"In the past few days some public comments were made which were not in good taste of democracy. Debate and criticism is our tradition, but while criticising somebody we should not forget modesty, sincerity, seriousness. Narendra Modi forgot it," Sharma said.

"I would refrain from using the language as Modi because that's not in my or Congress party's culture. The language, the statements which are not respectful, which are not true, are being used repeatedly, it has become his daily routine,"

he said.

"Comments were made on Sonia Gandhi, the wife of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, who got elected with lakhs of votes. This is not in good taste," he remarked.

"The problem with Modi is he is like to over project himself. Every person should know their limitation," he said.

Objecting to Modi's campaign in name of spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda, "In this yatra, taken on government expenses, if Modi carries Vivekananda's values and speaks his language, full of sincerity and modesty, then he can pass on some message to the younger generation. But the message he is spreading is of his politics, it has no resonance with the values that Vivekananda had aspired," Sharma said.

"If he wants to campaign on political issues then he should carry pictures of personalities who have high stature like Gandhiji, Sardar Patel, Nehru and Maulana, and then he should talk about the politics," the Congress leader said.

Modi is campaigning in the state with his 'Swami Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra'.

"He also likes to change his image every now and then. He will have his photographs sometimes with overcoat, though it is not much cold here in Gujarat, sometimes with hat, coat, muffler and golf clubs in his hand. I will be glad if he really knows golfing," Sharma said.

"I hope his real face, thinking and ideology will be put before the people of the state," the minister added.

narendra modi has lost his balance; an and sharma by Shriharsha Sharma on 20 Sep 2012

Anand Sharma is a slave of Sonia and would do anything to please Nehru-Gandhi nasty dynasty and he has no principles .He has been bought by Sonia and has no standing of his own in masses. This is the beginning of an end of Congress party of India . Mahatma Gandhi wanted Congress to be banned in 1947 so let us do it now as soon as possible to free India from foreign-minority rule and then only India will rise again. JAYA HIND, JAYA BHARAT MATA.

what would they call sonia by sg on 20 Sep 2012

on her remarks on modi as maut ka saudakar. let the congress leave the country to the people who really want to do good to the nation. its time their ideology is kept away from the nation and its people for 3 decades for a refresh / restart button to take place. their contribution has been most damaging and its time we got rid of them permanently

Anand Sharma's reaction - Narendra Modi's comment by Raghavendra on 20 Sep 2012

Anand Sharma's reaction on Narendra Modi's comments on Rahul Gandhi (Raul Vinci) meaningless. I do not understand how many more years the congress party wants fool the indian population and squeeze assets of this country to other continents. In real interest of the country all these dual standard politicians are to be thrown out of country. What nonsense the so called minister talking about? How much share (%ge) was offered to him for his sincere!! efforts for fooling the fellow countrymen. It is known that there are thousands of Anand Sharma's in this country who tries to fool the fellow citizens by supporting the Italian beggers in our country. It is very sad part of India, the power is in wrong people's hand. Let almighty bring another "Kurushetra" where all "Kuravas" are defeated & made powerless for ever.

His Masters Voice by SM on 19 Sep 2012

Anand Sharma is a HMV. If, as Anand Sharma says, Rahul can indeed contest from Gujarat, he should contest against Modi. Should be an eye opener for lot of us.

Naredra Modi lost his balance? by Mahant on 19 Sep 2012

Naredra Modi lost his balance? How so? Do you really believe that Sonia's son is not being prepared for the next PM? If you did, I have a bridge to sell! Gandhi dynasty has not only stolen Indian people's money, it has stolen India's progress and prosperity in the name of secularism. In addition, this dynasty is not able to protect India's integrity.

Shut Up by SK on 19 Sep 2012

In fact it seems that Mr. Anand sharma has lost his balance because whole of his life he has been contesting and grabbing the ministrial post just by praisng the Nehru and Gandhi family and buttering of gandhi family, its sheer his imbalance on his part that now he reached to so low that now he has started buttering Rahul, who doesn't have any stautre on his own if one minus the Gandhi family from his life. There are millions of youth more knowledgable, more smart with good qualification far far better than rahul cannot come in politics and rise, why we give so much of importance to this man. Mr. Sharma you have lost your balance as neither you have your own agenda nor your any views on any issue, and these kind of guys in our land has been referred as mindless and retarded person, have you not been retarded you would not have suggested Modi to contest from Bihar. Mr. Sharma this political luxury what you are availing can go anytime just wait..... you will come to know.
