Modi was addressing Vivekanand Youth Convention at Bhuj where he was accompanied by his mentor and former deputy prime minister L K Advani, who has roots in Kutch district.

In his speech, Advani hailed Modi’s rule as “Ram Rajya”. “Ram Rajya was an ideal kingdom. And for Gujarat, we see everybody has nothing but appreciation to offer. Go anywhere in the world, people are appreciating the Gujarat government.”

Advani also recalled how his family had settled down in Adipur in Kutch after leaving Karachi during the Partition in 1947.

S&P has lowered the India's growth rate to 5.5%. Where as Gujrat clock around 13% per year.... That too considering that Modi has to arrange funds from the center again Congress. Yes he has a forgettable past... But so did Indira Gandhi had with Sikh killings.... And why not to question MMS for the recent killings in Assam ... He comes from that part... with more than 10 years Congress could not find any issue to speak against him... Hence its always Communal criticism... Sorry but people have grown and now they look forward from these issues... We need jobs, Money, social Equality and a better life... and Economic growth is the answer and has been the answer...
