Kolkata, February 21 ASC Centre (North), Gaya, took the first place in the tent pegging sword team (AEC) event in the ongoing National Equestrian Championship at the Calcutta Polo Grounds here on Thursday. The event is being hosted by the Fort William Riding Institute.

The following are today’s results:
Tent pegging sword team (AEC): First place: ASC Centre (North) (NK Ram Bhan, Sep T Sarkar, Sep Balwan, Sep Niwas), Second: ASC Centre (North) ‘A’ (Major Vivek Rehni, Sub Om Prakash, NK Phool Singh, NK Shinde RT), Third: FWRI ‘A’, Kolkata (Lt Col Jyoti Dhawan, Sub Mukhtiar Singh, Sub Sampat, NK Vipin Kumar), Fourth: FWRI ‘B’, Kolkata (Nk Sukj Ram, Sep Baljit, Sep K Dagar, Sep G S Shekhawat);
Show jumping novice: First place: NKP Basumatari ASC Centre & College, Bangalore, Second: Capt Amir Sinsinwar, HQ Northern Command, Third: Capt D Swittens, 61 Cav, Fourth: Maj V Nehra, Beg & Centre;
Show jumping junior/young riders: First place: Swr Parvesh Singh, RVC Centre, Meerut Cantt, Second: Swr Sujit Biswal, RVC Centre, Meerut Cantt, Third: (Tie between 3 participants for 3rd position) Swr Parvesh Singh, Adhiraj Neel Mukherjee & Kingshuk Chatterjee, RVC Centre, Meerut, HQ Northern Command, Army Centre, Nasik.
