Mumbai Stories about male bonding seem to be in fashion lately. While Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol teamed up for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Imran Khan starred with Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapur in Delhi Belly, now Neil Nitin Mukesh and Prateik are set to team up for a film.

Shailesh R Singh, who has co-produced films like Tanu Weds Manu and Not A Love Story earlier, has roped in the actors for his next production, Rum Pum Posshh, a youth centric film to be directed by debutant Sam.

Singh confirms, “I can best describe this film as Delhi Belly meets Shaitan. It is about two boys who are great friends but things go wrong between them and how they solve the issues.”

Meanwhile, two new actresses will feature opposite the actors. Set to go on floors in December, it will be shot entirely in Dubai. He says, “Dubai is an integral part of the script written by Sam. We will be shooting for around 45 days in December.” As of now, the producer has zeroed in on May 24 as this film’s release date.

Though, before Rum Pum Posshh, the producer has two films up for release under his banner Param Hans Creations. First up is 16, a coming-of-age film that stars newbies and releases in January. “This film is about the age 16 and how it is not sweet anymore. Then, in February, we will release Prateik starrer Issaq that is directed by Manish Tiwary,” says Singh. Moreover, after wrapping up Rum Pum Posshh, the producer is also planning a film starring Irrfan in the lead. This yet-untitled film will be directed by Ajay Bahl, who helmed BA Pass that won the best film in Indian competition at the 12th Osian’s-Cinefan film festival.
