Ambaji Exactly a year after Chief Minister Narendra Modi began his Sadbhavana Mission in the presence of top BJP leaders, his party chief Nitin Gadkari on Monday declared in his presence that the saffron party wanted a “Gujarat-like government at the Centre” after the 2014 parliamentary polls.

Gadkari was speaking at a public meeting at Ambaji in Banaskantha district as part of Modi’s Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra.

“The BJP will again come to power in Gujarat with a thumping majority. What has been done and is being done in Gujarat will be replicated in other states and ultimately BJP will come to power in New Delhi,” said Gadkari.

Earlier, in his address to the gathering, Modi said his government would return to power “to create a Divya (sacred) and Bhavya (glorious) Gujarat”.

Gadkari arrived at the venue at Ambaji just as Modi was concluding his speech.

Hoping Narendra Modi will be P M by viranchi Singh on 18 Sep 2012

suppose modi was directly or indirectly involved in those riots.but what abt. congress who indirectly is responsible for killing 100s of thousands of people in our country.some die due to lack of food while food grains rotting down, some die bcoz of lack of medical facilities, some kill themselves bcoz they don't make enough money to live.i don't know the exact stats.Otherwise i would have told you. but one thing is sure in this present situation Modi is the only alternative..

Riots by Harsh on 18 Sep 2012

When people talk of Gujarat riots they forget what caused it. Innocent karsevaks were burnt alive. while all tend to forget how Congress men killed innocent Sikhs post killing of just 1 person (Indira Gandhi). How many were killed then and how many days did the killings happen. How effectively Gujarat government controlled the riots? Lets talk of growth, good governance. Not one scam bigger than the other. And minister telling soon people will forget Coal Scam too....

Yes, exactly!!! That's what he is trying to say. There will be riots and ethnic cleansing all over India if he gets the PM's seat.

Why is Congress so worried? Because BJP won in Muslim constituencies in Gujarat too! So why are we still stuck in the past while Gujarat has moved smartly to future. 24x7 power & water dream for rest of the nation.

Cleansing by Shyam on 18 Sep 2012

yes there will be a cleansing of corrupt crook& anti-nationals. Ethnic cleansing is part of your culture, which is already done in pak & bangladesh. That is why you are worried of a back lash

Riots by Varind on 18 Sep 2012

If there are no butchers who roasted Karsewaks in train, there won't be any riots. Why no riots take place after 2002, think it over.

Riots by D Bhattacharya on 18 Sep 2012

Riots are created by anti social elements to disturb the peace of the country. There have been riot in Congress ruled states more often. By naming Modi Responsible for the Godhra kand, Congress wants to continue looting this country as they are very well aware that Mr. Narendra Modi is the only alternative at this juncture. Congress does is not interested in Gujrat like developement of the country because in that case they will not be able to Loot this country. Dont fall pray to congresses malafied intensions.
