It is not lack of education. Ye poori tarah paagal ho chuke hain. They do not know(empathically) the pain of such deaths till they themselves get it. Those are unfortunate girls-daughters, wives,mother, sisters who are born in such societies.

The people of Pakistan in general must undergo a religious and cultural revolution. Learn more about other cultures rather than be brainwashed and live in a uneducated society of bigots. Please leave your religion in the confines of your home and mosque. Do not force those beliefs on others. I do not personally belive in God's existnace, but that does not mean that I hate other people who do and who technically should be and are Kafirs based on my thoughts. Imagine having "No religion" is my religion, then all other people of all other faiths are Kafirs. Outside you are all human beings and need to tolerate the presence of others who do not think like you do as they have had a different up bringing under different society norms and different education levels. Remember once you can tolerate other religions, race or creed, and find pleasure in sacrifice to help other human beings , you will have won the world and would have reached a level of self enlightenment. Could the girl's mother claim that she never looked on any other man's face in her life? If this was the way of treating the daughters, there wont be any girls left in Pakistan. It is a natural thing that one look at another, but unfortunate is that the parents consider the look as "LUST" for sex? She even undertook that she wont repeat her mistake, but by then, the girls mother had already threw acid on her.. what a promptness. Does that mean all mothers in Pakistan carry acid whenever they are out with their daughters? This particular segment is becoming a nuisance to the world. One terrorist from Pakistan had claimed that he will kill all the publically elected panchayat members in J&K. Are they living in the stone age? What is their motto? Women who gave birth to them are not legible to live in this world? They need the sympathy of the male domination to see the world? Even Allah wont forgive the parents of the girl, am sure!
