"I strongly condemn the incident. There should be an inquiry into the attack. There should be strong action against that party...MNS should be banned," the Minister told reporters.
His comments came as a response to the attack on 13 railway board examination centres in suburban Mumbai by MNS activists who protested "inadequate representation" to locals and chased away candidates from north India.
Prasad said the directions of the Supreme Court or any other courts did not have any impact on the MNS leader. "We can see such incidents when the elections are near," he said.
The Minister said he had spoken to Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh who assured him of a proper inquiry into the incident.

I am ashamed of Indian media's role in this issue. Media, who is suppose to understand both side of the story for some weird reasons on this issue is only showing one side of the story. I have completely lost all the trust in Media inspite of being in media.I also know for sure this message wont be given importance at all by you all. Cause I understand the guideline that you too are following. But the bottomline of this message is Media has played extremely bad role in understanding the other side of the story.

People from Maharashtra go to other states for jobs too. In Karnataka, where I live, there are many people from Maharashtra who live and work here. They are welcome and well treated. You can’t discriminate against other Indians because they are from a different state. Our country will go to the dogs if everyone does this. Lalu is right. Raj Thackeray is a mental case.
Raj thackeray should be given severe penalty under the charge of murder of an innocent bihari boy. He should be made to provide compensation to the boys immediate family. I think Raj Thackeray is a bigger threat to India than the Taliban, JeM, LeT et al combined. To top that the "fan" following he seems to have - mostly unemployed, good-for-nothing, Jai Maharashtra yelling crowd- seems to buy all that North Indian crap he throws at the media. Men like Raj Thackeray should be put away for the rest of their life. Further, what is up with torching buses and taxis. This is not relevant only to this case but to everything untoward that happens. Take for instance, buses being torched when kids were killed in Asaram's ashram. I think more than being a "faithful" MNS miscreant muscle, it is about satifying our string Indian urge to destroy public property which we do anyway riots or no riots.

He would be unable to spell “ Constitution” in the Roman script or “Samwidhan” in the Devanagari; but this does not stop him from using that word, every time he opens his trap. When there are more than 200 countries in the world, what is wrong if one more nation, like Maharashtra Nation is born. In the past Nepal, Sri Lanka, Burma, pakistan were also part of India. And now, they are separate nation. Remaining India is carrying on. If Maharashtra separates as a nation, remaining India can do without it. There are so many brilliant people in UP and Bihar, who can help the prosperity of remaining India. As a nation, Maharashtra can equal Germany Japan, France and England. Railway board officers needs to be blamed for favouring UP and Bihari.Is there are no talent left in Maharashtra so that those people needs to travel and come here for such exams. Railways should shift the examination centers out off Maharastra and then Raj Thackeray will realise what problems a candidates have to face when they have to go to some other state for exam and when they have to face such consequences. Railways or any perticular "North Indian" have never said that Marathis should not participate in railway exams. Thos who are eligible should participate, if they are Maharastra or any other state.
