Sugar price ends quiet in thin trade

New Delhi The wholesale sugar prices ruled quiet in the national capital today as prices continued to trade at previous closing levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.

Marketmen said sporadic buying support and restricted arrivals mainly held prices unaltered.

The following were today quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 3,280-3,450, S-30 3,260-3,430.

Mill delivery: M-30 3,180-3,340; S-30 3,160-3,315. Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3345, Kinnoni 3410, Asmoli 3350, Dorala 3320, Budhana 3315, Thanabhavan 3315, Dhanora 3275, Simbholi 3400, Modi Nagar 3280, Khatuli 3325, Dhampur 3275, Ramala 3200, Bulandshar 3265, Anupshar 3180, Baghpat 3240, Morna 3220, Sakoti 3240, Chandpur 3260, Amroha 3270 and Nazibabad 3180.
