We have a lot to discuss on human rights
Whenever I asked someone, are you a Muslim? I always feel that I am offending a person, because all good muslims are terrorist.
Who says ? It surely does because they see immediate gain in their voting game.Their every vote gets counted because of their unanimity or say enemity with anybody who are portrayed as anti islamist.Anti Social & anti national parties such as SP & CONgress , most corrupt BSP are the favourites who lure muslims with their irrational freebees. There are no sense of ethics & Vision & Nationalism in whatever they do.May be because their wants & needs are limited & Cacooned in their islamist ideologies but those who have break free of all trivial issues - they hardly have time to think of Patriotism & Nationalism. Please realise you have voted voted against the Spirit of Indian Wishes of curbing the caste politics , rampant corruption thereby prmoting inclusive growth & improving the overall outlook of India & it's citizens like you.
I think long we have been played by Cong and BJP one trying to be friend of minority and liberalist other Extremist view. Both will divide our country one will give break our contry create sub country . BJP will throw our country right in to China hand. In the last debate with china. We don't need to attack India they will fight among them self and become week and give they country to us and we will take it. Wake up people stop being puppets of BJP and CONG. They are suppose to serve us not the other way around.
Allah ( God ) is every where. up down left right front back . Only kafirs (frauds) see Allah inside kuran or in mosque. For belief in Allah no need to read any book any page. We should not wear any fraud things to show our nearness to Allah . Every is equally near to Allah. In our Ammijan's stomach Allah makes us without reading any line of any book.
U r rite buddy........i agree wd u... Good thought
A few days before the elections, the government finds a vulnerable muslim to speak something in favor of muslims, or make an offer that pleases millions of them. A few days after the elections, every thing is forgotten ... Muslims have to decide if Congress is cheating them or other parties will welcome them in their own rank and file.
Will you please tell us which block of voters is dumb then? What different blocks of voters you think are there? What solid evidence is there that a particular block voted for a particular party? Has anybody ever isolated Muslim vote slips and proved the tendencies that you talk about?
A period of 60 years since independence, the Voter irrespective of Caste and appeasement issues have realized the strategies of all national/state/regional political organization. Can we consider a fine stage of maturity!!!
By franchising of Vote Right Muslim have exercised their natural right enshrined in Constitution. The political theory of appeasement by Congress and anti minority by BJP can not work any more. Natural justice to Riot Victims in physical and legal rehabilitation would benefit Nation at large.
Sorry, read the article only today.I'm glad I stumbled on it. Extremely well-written, the content is hope-raising. When the results were declared I felt exactly the same. Muslims are waking up to the truth behind appeasement. A slap on the face of Digvijay Singh and Salman Khurshid.Let the community educate itself, emerge from ghettoes and reap the benefits of a modern, non-pseudo secular India.
Certainly muslim voters are not dumb. On the contrary they ore are very smart and vote strategicaly enblock. That is why you see political parties rushing to thier leaders to offer goodies ( electoral bribes ) in return for their vote. Only issues is while selecting a party to support vision and good governance is not given due importance. As a result we see rise of inefficient governance which results in state falling behind. UP and Bihar are classic examples of this , and result is there for all of us to see.
Muslims are fed up with promises as promises has made them more poor than what they would have been. Muslims should vote for BJP like party which does not promise them anything so that they make their own attempt to solve their proble. Muslim leaders and urdu journalist are the biggest benificiary and not muslims.
The present system is hopeless & useless to common man. MPs/MLAs/Municipal Councillars and village panchyat system are accountable to the people of India. Better we may adopt German system for just 2 years. if corruption can be stopped we must try for this system, then after that we can think on other methods.
As long as MUslims in India do not feel one with the rest of India, they would continue to be fooled by all the pseudo secular parties like congress, SP, BSP et al. No one is suspecting their situation in India which has been manufactured by the pseudo secular parties for their own electioral benefit and not really in the lives ofminorities. Muslims may not be dumb, but have a flocking tendency which makes them feel as a separate group. If at all Muslims have more freedom it is only in India and not in any of the Islamic nations including Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Indonesia. The rest ofIndia wants the Muslims of India to join the mainstream and not isolate themselves through the fasle promises offered by the pseudo seculars.
Mr. Subbu, We want to join you but if you keep us away, how can we join you.
who's keeping you out?making you feel as though u r being hunted down?it's the politicians who wants you to feel that way so that they could exploit your insecurity as votes.as long as don't free yourselves from their clutches, we can't help you.even this editorial makes me feel that Muslims are people who are not part of this country...who's to blame?
The article speaks as though Muslims are a separate constituency; and they are not dumb. And they were not moved by charades of INC. They voted SP. But why? Because they preferred its charade? Or because its performance last time in power? Or they did not want the supposedly anti-Muslim BJP to gain? As long as prefer to see themselves as a block, politicians will try to fool them. And rather than voting on merits they will end up having to choose between charades.
the true color of Gandhi ( kaul-kasmiri pandits) is communalism like giving reservation for muslim and castesim like calling Sam pitroda as ' badhaya( carpanter)' in election rallies by rahul gandhi.but people of india and UP particilar had seen these mimicary of indira gandhi( giving appeasement policy to harijans and muslims and subsequently making riots to give agony to muslims, opening of gates of Ram temple by rajiv gandhi, and rahul baba a new enterant in this field, giving old wine in new bottle.
I too do agree with Mr Arun. Presidential rule should be imposed but president like Ms Prativa Patil will worsen the magic. "Asmaan se utra aur khajur me atka". Everybody knows the wife/husband due, what they are upto!!
I agree with Arun that a Presidential system is more effective and efficient for a large federation like India. The casteist corrupt rif-raff can play their games in Lok Sabha, but the administration will be run by competent people, and the Rajya Sabha will keep the Lok Sabha from running wild. However, it is important to check the President's power, by term limits, legislative control of the budget, and a mechanism to impeach a President. The American system is a good model.
Political masters generally are dismissive of voters intelligence. Its time they took the voters seriously . The days of empty sloganeering is over-now people evaluate and analyse the situation smartly. This is likely to lead to a lot of realighnment in Indian polity .
The lesson was there for the INC after Bihar elections but the party chose to continue on its treaden path of Muslim appeasement. The party has assiduosly followed this strategy since 1947 and forgets that in the 21st century, the voter has moved on. He wants governance and not empty promises and rhetoric.
I like the analysis but I am not sure it was a wise move to vote the SP back into power. Whatever the BSP's faults the SP is known for supporting criminals and law and order always gets worse under them, and strongmen like Azam Khan do very little for the community.
The country in spite of the internationally acknowledged achievements of large number of individuals in various fields and especially in IT, is being led by politicians who do not measure up to the iq of even primary school kids all in the name of poor, Muslims, dalits, and obcs. How long this will go on? The solution is that the well meaning resourceful individuals must come forward to boldly support individuals with proven track record in honesty and integrity to fight elections as independents. The process of convincing the voters for 2014 elections that the corruption and poor governance are responsible for robing them of opportunity of improving their lot and that the professional politicians' agenda is anything but to bring about the desired positive changes in the society must commence now. Just 100 such MPs will do the magic. The cost of such a support is not too high. Young India, mother India expects you to take the plunge in the active politics.
Praksh has many good ideas and facts related to Indian Politics. However, the system currently in use has evolved from the British colonial-pre-Independence system which British introduced in many parts of the country. The political parties then emerge were based on religion and ideologies and British had promoted such division with the hope of splitting the Hindu-Muslim Unity of Pre-Independence days. The prevention of qualified individuals%u2019 entry in politics in India starts at the party level. Unlike USA, there is no democracy within the parties and tickets are issued on the basis of Old Feudal Concepts that is whichever Lord had largest standing army and resources was the Knight at the round table. Same thing happens in Indian Politics. Mamta, commands the thugs in the street who keep the party cadre in line and she gets the clout and all she does is take care of them. A business man like Tata cannot get a ticket and even he gets one he will not win because of control on the voting masses majority of them are in towns and villages who vote for a symbol or face and for money. To make Indian Democracy shine like a True democracy current system has to be thrown out. A constitutional Presidential rule for five to ten years should be imposed by having a referendum for it. During that time new democratic system based on qualifications and abilities to serve without party%u2019s control has to be created. Switching party after election must be made strictly in accordance to constitutional rules approved by all parties. India is least democratic country in real life although it has voting records and it is a heaven for thugs, murderers and profiteers as long as current system remains. Sad part is that citizen has to choose one thug or the other
These elections proved two things: 1- The congress is more communal than the BJP. It can play with national security, make martyrs out of terrorists and divide the country on religious lines. 2.- The congress does no longer have a monopoly over minority votes. Muslims in UP and Christians in Goa (interestingly Catholics who were supposed to vote for Catholic Sonia) ditchted the corrupt and communal Congress. More importantly for the Congress - the most important lesson - The temple town of Udupi with overwhelming Hindu population where BJP had won 4 times in a row and Gujarat - the bastion of Hindutva politics voted for Congress - where no issue of Quota for muslims or batla house was raised and ALSO WHERE THE FIRST FAMILY OF CONGRESS DID NOT CAMPAIGN. The law of diminishing returns on Communal muslim politics AND dynastic politics is haunting the Congress. Sonia and family may be Gods to Congress, but not to the aam admi. Feudalistic politics in goa also got the boot.
Good analysis. Two major big parties, Congress/BJP had experienced after 65 years of immature political era. Their game plan of ping pong with and against minority plank can not work any more. In fact fair polity had led big National Parties towards margin through the voters who were marginalized.
