New York A teacher from California, who was fired in April after officials discovered her past as a porn actress, has been told by the judges that she will not be reinstated.

According to local station KTLA, three judge panel for the Commission on Professional Competence on Tuesday ruled that Stacie Halas, who taught science to middle school students, was forbidden from teaching in the Oxnard School District again.

Halas appeared in porn films under the moniker Tiffany Six during an eight-month period between 2005 and 2006, three years before she started teaching at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School, the New York Daily News reported.

Halas’ lawyer argued that she only did it to earn some money and that she didn’t break any laws but the school district claimed that the former porn star had no business teaching children.

She has every right to back normal life by somesh on 18 Jan 2013

Every person should be given chance to return to the main stream life .If its we who restrict them from doing so where will they go and by this aren't we forcing her to do the same which we saw unethical. She has every right to back normal life.

why? she is also a human! by seri on 18 Jan 2013

Whats the problem with her? She can be a good teacher. She did it for some reasons and she is not doing it now, so she can teach the children's. I am not understanding the point.
