The former Army Chief had shared dais with Ramdev at Jantar Mantar yesterday and were prevented from marching towards India Gate, the epicentre of the protests.
Police sources said the names of Singh and Ramdev were mentioned in the FIR.
The FIR gave the sequence of events that led to the clashes between police and protesters. Ramdev and Singh made speeches at the function, according to the FIR.
The supporters had clashed with police when they were prevented from marching towards India Gate.
After a brief speech at Jantar Mantar yesterday, Ramdev along with Singh and others had started marching towards India Gate but police stopped them. As soon as Ramdev and Singh got down from the dais, police cordoned off the area and the protesters sat at the spot.
However, the supporters started marching towards India Gate and tried to break barricades following which police resorted to use of force. Two persons suffered injuries in the melee.
A total of four cases of rioting and destruction of public property have been registered.

As the outrage over the Delhi gangrape incident continued, the chief of Andhra Pradesh unit of Congress today courted controversy over his remark that women should not "roam" the streets in the night just because India got Independence at midnight. "Do we roam in streets at midnight as we got Independence at midnight? It would have been better if the girl did not travel by a private bus at that time," the AP Congress Committee President Botsa Satyanarayana told reporters here.
Now FIR should be filed against the delhi police for the brutality against its own citizen. It is acting like a stooge of Congress party. Top heads must roll on.
The government of Delhi State and the Union government are doing politics of the worst kind by filing FIR against Retd. General VK Singh and Baba Ramdev or any other activist who have taken leadership of the protest against the gruesome rape of the Para Medical student in a moving bus. Instead of taking stern action against the passive police force and sterner action against the culprits the governments of Delhi and Centre are trying to give it a political colour. God knows when we Indians will get the dignity and courage to throw out the corrupt Congress out of India.
The police should initiate strict action against Baba Ramdev and retired army chief V K Singh for doing unlawful activities and creating law and order problem.They never can be the custodian of the victim

So you believe that the gang rape of the women of India should not be protested at all. The police should be allowed to sleep when a sister or wife or a daughter of any Indian is being raped or gang raped. You are no less than a moron nay a beast to say the least.
