Ludhiana An unidentified woman is learnt to have entered the house of SAD(B) Ludhiana East MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon early Tuesday morning and walked out with a small Pug dog owned by the MLA’s family.

The entire incident was recorded in a CCTV camera installed in the driveway of the MLA’s house.

Interestingly, the bodyguards posted with the MLA were sleeping at the time of the incident. The Saleem Tabri police is learnt to have registered an FIR in the case.

Dhillon said, “There is a three to four minutes of CCTV recoding which shows a woman aged about 30 entering our home about three in the morning. She is seen looking around and even looking inside my Innova. However, my car was locked. We have some four cars standing in the driveway and she went around all the cars. After some time, she took away the dog.”

The MLA added, “We had returned home from a function late in the night, and for the first time, we left the main gate unlocked. This woman was dressed in a suit and was barefoot. She did not look like someone from a poor family or a beggar. She was dressed well. My family fears that she could have come to our house for some black magic or something. I have brought the matter to the notice of the police.”

DCP S Bhupati, when contacted, said, “I need to look into the complaint after which we will decide on further course of action.”
