Youth Akali Dal rally against drugs

Ludhiana:Youth Akali Dal leaders on Thursday organised a rally against drug addiction, which started from Mata Rani chowk and culminated at the Deputy Commissioner’s office afer they submitted a memorandum to DC Rahul Tiwari. Prominent among those who took part were MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali and senior SAD leader Gurdeep Singh Gosha. The leaders also held a cycle rally.

Congress leaders to be at Balmiki function

Ludhiana:Dalit Mahapanchayat is observing Parkash Utsav of Bhagwan Balmiki on November 18. Among those expected to attend the programme are former chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh, Congress Legislature Party leader Sunil Jakhar and Punjab Youth Congress president Bikram Chaudhary.
