MC invites NGOs, others to adopt green areas

Ludhiana:The landscaping and horticulture officer of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, Surinder Kumar, has invited NGOs, institutions and interested individuals to adopt and maintain green areas, belts, roundabouts and other parts of the city on their own expenses. The step has been taken to reduce the pollution level in the city and divide the responsibility of keeping the city clean and green. Interested people can meet Kumar in Zone-A office of the Ludhiana MC.

Three GCG students excel in PU exam

Ludhiana:Three girls from Government College for Girls secured top positions in Add-On-Course in Journalism of Panjab University. Garima from BA-I secured first position, Manpreet of BA-III got first position in the diploma course, Naina Garg of BSc-II obtained third place in the exams held in April 2012.
