For the 20,000 music lovers who were waiting to experience the musical mehfil of ragas by Pandit Jasraj, it was a dream come true. What made the performance special were Panditji's comments on the audiences, co-artistes and Bharat Ratna being given to Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. "Akbar was behind Tansen. But the entire country is with Pandit bhimsen Joshi. Bharat Ratna being given to Pandit Bhimsen Joshi is no doubt good news, but this should have happened long ago," said Pandit Jasraj.
