Ryan wins best school trophy

Ludhiana, October 16 Ishpuneet Chug of Class VIII of Ryan International School won the second prize in a poster-making competition held at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital here today. Ryan International School also won the best school trophy.

The theme of the competition was “Organ donation — gift of life.” Twelve students from Ryan International School participated in the contest.

According to Dr Augustine Pinto, chairman of Ryan Group of Institutions, “Various forms of art are the best medium to influence people and create awareness among them.” The students made lovely and informative posters. Their work demonstrated they understood the motive of the competition. Gurpreet Kaur Sandhu, the school principal, encouraged the students to participate in such contests to hone their artistic skills.
