Some other high-profile accused, including suspended IPS officers D G Vanjara, Rajkumar Pandian and Dinesh MN, could not be produced before the court by the Sabarmati Central Jail authorities due to security reasons.
CBI lawyer Ejaz Khan said the court has now ordered the jail authorities to produce all the 18 accused on November 23.
Khan said Shah recorded his presence before the court along with Gujarat State Co-operative Bank chairman Ajay Patel and Ahmedabad District Co-operative Bank director Yashpal Chudasma.
Patel and Chudasma have been accused by the CBI of threatening Raman Patel and Dashrath Patel, owners of Popular Builders, to give statements to the CBI as per directions of Shah and another accused police officer Abhay Chudasma.
