The Editor of a Tamil weekly 'Netrikkan,' A Mani, was arrested by the city police late last night for carrying photographs of a popular cine actress Trisha Krishnan, purportedly under a shower, police said on Tuesday. The arrest was following a complaint lodged by the mother of the actress, police said. According to the complaint, the publication had carried the photographs even after the family had issued a statement denying that the pictures were that of the actress.

Mani has been charged under the Tamil Nadu compulsory censorship of publicity material act, police said.
