Mayawati to resign from Lok Sabha

BSP leader Mayawati will resign her Lok Sabha seat, party supremo Kanshi Ram announced in the Capital on Thursday.

Kanshi Ram told a news conference that the services of Mayawati were required in Uttar Pradesh.

Mayawati had won from Harora (reserved) constituency in the recently held Assembly elections in the state.
