MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, May 9: A blushing Prince Charles, after being kissed and having his bottom patted, was pronounced ``very sexy'' by British pop sensations `The Spice Girls' on Friday.

The Prince of Wales met the five girls at the start of a 21st anniversary Royal Gala for his Prince's Trust, which helps small businesses. Geri Halliwell - known as Ginger Spice - planted a kiss on his cheek at the Opera House in Manchester, leaving it covered in lipstick, patted his bottom and told him: ``You know, I think you are very sexy. We could spice up your life.'' The Prince declined an invitation from Posh Spice - 24-year-old Victoria Adams - to have his tongue pierced.

He then thanked them for taking part in a star-studded line-up at the gala, telling them, ``You are extremely good to do this''.

The performance also starred Phil Collins.
