Sunny Leone’s ‘Ragini MMS-2’ to be directed by Bhushan Patel

Mumbai Bhushan Patel, who made his directorial debut with Vikram Bhatt\'s ‘1920: The Evil Returns’ has been signed on by Ekta Kapoor to helm the sequel of ‘Ragini MMS’.

The film has been titled ‘Ragini MMS- 2’ and stars porn star-turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone.

\"What started off as a humble experimental film has turned into a franchise called- \'Ragini MMS\'. We liked the promos of \'1920: The Evil Returns\' and took a leap of faith in signing Bhushan. Given the film\'s impressive box office performance, it has proven to be the right decision,\" Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, said in a statement.

Director Bhushan also expressed his excitement to bag the film.

\"To add to the excitement of a hit debut film, is the opportunity of directing another hit franchise, \'Ragini MMS-2\', for the Balaji banner. I am looking forward to it,\" he said.

The film is expected to go into production in January next year.
